Part 1-Registration, authentication, Home, word markings in text.
The site can be visited without authentication or authentication, when all sections are accessible.
You can register from the first page and the registered ones can authenticate.
For the authenticated visitor, the lower-left button accesses the profile, favorite items previously selected by it, its messages and files, settings, and output from the account. All these facilities are documented in detail in the Support-My Account section.
The site has 6 main sections, Home, pregnant, professionals, parents, My-TORCH-it and support, accessible from the main menu, permanently located at the top of any pages.
Home contains two articles, the definition of the TORCH acronym, with the indication of consistent resources of references to definitions from other sites and details of the target audience of this site, organized after 6 criteria.
In most of the items present on the site, menus that allow easy navigation to other topics appear on the right, including the display of user favorites. At the end of the articles are suggested similar items, the ability to mark the item to favorites, navigate to the previous or next article.
In the articles accessed are identified two types of selections, marked blue, respectively the terms present in the dictionary, which select (the term cursor) shows a short definition, and access (click on the term) sends to the definition in the dictionary. The words marked blue, to which the short definition does not appear, are links to other articles in the site, visuality (click on marked words), usually in a new page of the site.
