TORCH, the acronym for toxoplasmosis, “Other” (listeriosis, syphilis, chickenpox, Parvovirus B19, hepatitis B, infection with other hepatitis viruses, HIV, infection with group B streptococci), rubella, cytomegalovirus and Herpes, is the grouping of the most Common congenital infections that cause fetal and neonatal mortality or contribute to the morbidities of the child.
