On October 5, 2017, 5:10 am, in the guard room of the Hospital of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Ploiesti comes from a near village, a 41-year-old pregnant woman, unmarried, housewife, for painful uterine contractions.

The mother is tested for syphilis at birth with rapid tests LABORQUIK ANTI SYPHILIS TEST-LBSY01.The result is positive. A blood sample of both the mother and the newborn is then collected, which is sent to the Prahova Sanitary Directorate. The results for mother are as follows:

Immediately after birth the newborn receives penicillin G treatment, 50,000 IU at 12 hours in the first 7 days and in the next 7 days 100 000 IU at 12 hours.
The patient’s history shows that she received treatment with Moldamin 2.4 million, as much as 1.2 million in each buttock, once a week for 3 week.
